One very enjoyable way to spend time with your lover is a romantic bath together. This exercise can be soothing as well as erotic for both of you. If you happen to be one of the lucky ones who own a hot tub you've really got the makings of a great night & probably already make use of it for this very purpose.
Don't worry if don't have a hot tub, just about any tub will do. Once again the idea here is quiet, relaxing time alone with each other. Just soaking in a warm tub while in each others arms & sipping your favorite drink can wash away all the days trials & tribulations. (all puns intended) Bathing together can combine the aspects of sensual massage with the soothing aspects of a warm bath. There is also something about a slick, soaped up body that seems to bring out the best in anyone. Feeling your lover's skin covered with slippery bubbles can be an experience that drives you to some amazing evenings together!
Go Hollywood
I'm sure you've all seen the movie scenes with two lovers in a tub surrounded by candles drinking wine. Well, why not? Again, plan every detail out, soft music, candles, wine & don't forget the Mr. Bubble! Spend time washing your lover, not a quick soap & rinse, but a complete soft wash. Work them from head to toe leaving no place untouched. Shampoo their hair, everybody loves a good shampoo job! A soft warm washing with a touch of massage thrown in will definitely set the mood for just about anything! Once the grooming has been completed the fun can begin.
Slip & Slide Sex
There is something very, very erotic about a wet soaped up body. Personally, it drives me nuts. Maybe it's the glistening skin or the slick feel but whatever it is, you must try it. The only caution I can add at this point is NO ACROBATICS! We don't want anyone getting hurt here because they slipped in the tub. Clean up Time
One of the few problems associated with bath sex is the fact that by the time you're done, your dirty again. Using Shower Time as Quickie Time
If you are the parents of children you probably know what I mean when I say it's tough to find the time for sex. Although we usually try to dissuade anyone from quickies parents of children may just need them. Not only will you save hot water you may be able to have some great sex for the effort. Positions vary for shower sex but our favorite is facing each other with one foot of her's up on the edge of the tub. If you two aren't proportional in height this may be impossible so the rear entry position becomes the easiest to do. Make sure to open a window or turn the heat down because the combination of the shower's heat and the heat you create yourselves may make it mighty hot in there. Don't want anyone getting overheated and passing out no do we?
Again, we usually don't preach the quickie but as parents we know making time for sex isn't always the easiest thing to do and great sex in the shower is better than no sex at all! Besides that you are helping to conserve energy by bathing together so help the planet and help yourselves and HAVE FUN!
